Samsung will build a R&D Center at STARLAKE New Town

On May 31st 2019, at STARLAKE Gallery – head office of THT Development Co., Ltd. who is the Master Developer of the Central Area of Tay Ho Tay New Town Project, the investment contract signing ceremony between THT and Samsung Vietnam Group on building a new research and development center (R&D).

 

Accordingly, the location for implementing the project is at the land lot B1-CC3 in the center of the Tay Ho Tay new town, Xuan Tao ward, Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi. With the estimated area of 11,600 sqm, the R&D center project will be built with a scale of 19 floors, including 16 floors above the ground, and 03 basements, which can contain about 3,000 people. This project is expected to start construction in early 2020 and be completed in 2022, and is oriented to become a world-class research and development center.

 

Samsung Vietnam Mobile R&D Center(SVMC), currently located in PVI tower in Ha Noi is the biggest research and development center of Samsung global in South East Asia for both mobile phones and network equipments, and is expected contribute to facilitate the construction of smart factories in Vietnam. In addition to R&D Center in Hanoi, Samsung has also developed R&D Center in Ho Chi Minh City, focusing on consumer electronics.
