THT sponsors 24 automatic air monitoring stations for Hanoi City

In the afternoon of May 27th, at Tay Ho Tay urban area, Hanoi city organized receive 24 automatic air monitoring stations sponsored by THT Development Co., Ltd on the occasion of President Ho Chi Minh’s 130th birthday took place solemnly at flower garden of Starlake Tay Ho Tay project. Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Nguyen The Hung said that in recent years, Hanoi’s air quality has shown signs of marked decline. Emissions, dust from vehicles; construction activities; activities of people cooking, using honeycomb charcoal, burning garbage and burning straw have a significant impact on the city’s environment quality.

 

The Vice President of Hanoi also assessed that the city has become a leading unit in the country to build an automatic air monitoring system, providing a reliable and continuous monitoring data series to the people. issue warnings and recommend measures to protect people’s health.

 

In order to ensure sustainable development, in recent years, with the drastic participation of all levels of Hanoi’s branches, the strong response of the majority of the Capital’s people and the support from organizations, Domestic and foreign enterprises operating in the area, Hanoi City has become the leading unit in the country to build automatic air monitoring system, providing reliable and continuous monitoring data series to the people, promptly issue warnings and recommend measures to protect the health of the people of the Capital.

 

 

With the new number of receiving stations, Hanoi City has increased the total number of automatic air observation stations to 35, contributing to gradually meet the needs of monitoring the air quality developments of the capital’s residents, improving effective state management and policy formulation on air environment protection.

 
On behalf of Hanoi People’s Committee, Vice Chairman Nguyen The Hung thanked THT Development Co., Ltd. for supporting Hanoi to install 24 sensor air monitoring stations, contributing positively to environmental protection Capital.

At the ceremony, the leader of the City People’s Committee also assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to organize the operation of 24 monitoring stations that have just received and connected with the city’s monitoring system. At the same time, it is recommended to increase the implementation of forecasting and alerting technologies to the community for the highest goal of protecting people’s health.

 

After the ceremony, the city will assign the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to organize the operation of the newly received air monitoring stations, connect to the existing monitoring system, improve the density of the air monitoring station to serve the needs increasing track demand of the people.
